Thypoch Simera 28mm F1.4 on the Fujifilm X-Pro3
Thypoch, with the Fujifilm X-Mount Simera lenses introduced the Fujifilm system to incredibly high-end optics both in build quality and optical design. One of the main ethos of DRobertsPhoto is to chase excellence and the Simera lenses for Fujifilm embody this ethos fully. I am incredibly pleased to have worked alongside Thypoch and FUJILOVE to bring a superlative product to an esteemed publication.
Thypoch Simera 35mm F1.4 & 28mm F1.4 for Fujifilm X-Mount
During the final quarter of 2024 I collaborated with Thypoch and FUJILOVE Magazine to create a series entitled Manual Lenses for Nostalgic Imagery. The first article (released in January 2025 issue 106) featured the Simera 35mm F1.4 and the subject of the article was the Thai cultural festivals that occur between October and December. The second article (released in February 2025 Issue 107) featured the Simera 28mm F1.4 and the subject of the article was street photography in Bangkok.
