Through the planned production of Discover Temples of Thailand main Q4 2025 production schedule, the author and sole operator David Roberts faced a serious medical condition as a side-effect of extensive and prolonged field-operation is sub-optimal conditions leading to dehydration and exposure. This led to Emergency evaluation at the Military Hospital in Udon Thani on October 24, 2025 where the initial diagnosis and referral to specialist within Udon Thani Hospital occurred. Through various processes that included medication that advised against the use of vehicles due to drowsiness, and external factors documented in a separate report; production was halted. On December 19, 2025 results of various tests (including extensive blood and CT) were given by Udon Thani Hospital. The initial medical issue was considered resolved, but it was stressed that they would return if lifestyle changes were not made. Medical advice was given that due to the authors European constitution, it was highly advised that the author limits extended exposure. The author believes himself lucky that on this occasion the medical issue was resolved without need for invasive surgery, or complications that are highly likely to arise from repeat contraction. The author is currently assessing the physical capability to continue as planned with the likelihood of continuation on Discover Temples of Thailand during Q1 2026 slim, as is Discover Temples of Thailand surfacing as the monograph pitched.

David Roberts is not halting production, nor abandoning DRobertsPhoto, but finding a sustainable path forward. Current goals are for the author to build health and resistance over Q1-Q3 2026, so as to be ready for a second tranche on production during Q4 if conditions align. Regardless of outcome for Discover Temples of Thailand, the author considers escalation to Japan as domiciliary first and foremost priority, with initial reconnaissance and stand-alone projects to be considered for 2027 onwards. As such Discover Temples of Thailand will serve as a minimum viable product to showcase production under duress within pitch decks for Japan expansion. If a monograph is completed and able to self-fund Japan expansion as planned; this will not be needed.
