Artralab 24mm F1.7 on the Fujifilm X-T5
I am proud to announce that I will be collaborating with Artralab on various projects during 2025. Artralab is a design house based in Hong Kong and their Nonikkor lenses are hand assembled, manual focus optics that takes vintage Nikkor designs and modernises them for use on modern mirrorless cameras, more specifically the Fujifilm X-Mount.
The current Nonikkor lineup includes the 11mm F1.8, 24mm F1.7, 35mm F1.4 and 50mm F1.2.
I was drawn to Artralab as a company and how they manage to respect the lineage they draw inspiration from yet maintain the philosophy of making optics for use with modern cameras. Artralab share many of the same ethos with DRobertsPhoto, a belief that images are more than just clinical sharpness but value character. Artralab’s Nonikkor range offer an incredible selection with varying degrees of character whist maintaining a distinct feel and look, both in rendering and in usability. Highlights of the Nonikkor range are size, fast apertures and consistent and accurate focus mechanisms. So far my experience with the Nonikkor line has been nothing but complementary.
